Calpe
In the thirties popular with writers such as Hemmingway etc. This is a town of inspiration. There is a stunning rocky park running to 1000ft into the sky above the town. Fish lovers will not be disappointed with fishing fleets delivering its catch in the early evening when most is purchased by the local restaurants.
Denia
Is a modern cosmopolitan city. To the north are fine sandy beaches of Les Marinas and Les Bareteas. There are well known fiestas including early June in honour of the Blessed Blood when bulls are run. This is very popular with tourists although it is not advisable to take part.
Javea
Famous for it’s many submerged coves, unusual rock formations and marina life. Consequently Javea is popular with both scuba divers and naturalists. The town is of much historical interest with extraordinary gothic architecture and a charming town square. The unique sunny and warm weather allows golf to be played all year round with over thirty golf courses in Costa Blanca, Costa Calida and Costa Almeria – with new courses under construction firmly establishing these Costas as the winter golf destination of northern Europeans. All the courses are located near towns and you can never be more than a few kilometres from a golf course. There are courses for the experienced players and others for the keen amateur. Some courses are essentially for members and others for the public. One thing is for sure, all courses will challenge your golfing ability!
Benidorm
Benidorms beaches and range of leisure amenities explain why it has become Costa Blanca’s main tourist area. Benidorm has some of the best beaches in the world. The fine sand cleaned daily, the quality of the service and the transparency of the water are the main reasons for Benidorm’s many visitors. All tastes and activities are catered for - gastronomy, music, culture, excursions through the region and cinema. Walks can be taken in the Parque de Elche, excursions taken to the Sierra Gelada, you can go swimming on the best beaches of the Costa Blanca, go to the cinema, visit the Aquatic Park, eat and drink in restaurants for all budgets, and practise sports such as sailing and diving and also enjoy the nightlife.
