SAN PEDRO ALCANTARA
San Pedro Alcantara is located just west of Marbella. It came abut in the 1860s as an agricultural colony. Since the 70s the town has thrived on tourism and many hotels golf courses and other businesses have been established.
The beach at San Pedro stretches for nearly 5kms and has been awarded a blue flag. There is a promenade with a nice selection restaurants and Chiringuitos.
San Pedro town has retained it Spanish charm and has its share of history and monuments to offer including the parish church of 1866

TORREMOLINOS
Torremolinos is only 8kms east of Malaga airport, it started as a tiny fishing village and has now become one of the largest and most popular resorts on the coast. It is a family resort which offers an unbeatable range of hotels, restaurants, bars, discos, shops and even an aqua park.
There are 2 principle beaches which are long and sandy and offer great facilities.


PUERTO BANUS
Only 6kms west of Marbella, Puerto Banus is the ultimate playground for the rich and famous. Built by Don Jose Banus in 1970 it was the Costa del Sols first pleasure harbour.
The marina harbours some of the largest and most luxurious yachts you will see anywhere.
During the day you can browse the vast selection of designer shops and boutiques. There is also a shopping mall and large department store. Or you can visit the beautiful beach .
By night the place is alive with bars, restaurants and nightclubs, ther is also a 7 screen cinema complex and casino.

NUEVA ANDALUCIA
Situated just west of Marbella and above Puerto Banus. Here you will find the famous Golf Valley, which is consisted of some of the coasts finest golf courses including La Quinta, Aloha, Las brisas, Loss Naranjos, and La dama de Noche. The apartments and villas in this area are based on traditional Andalucian architecture set in beautiful Mediterranean gardens and often offering great views over the golf valley and the coast. There is also a dormant Bullring where a market is held every Saturady morning.

MIJAS COSTA
Mijas Costa is made up of made up of the coastal towns around Fuengirola, The area is famous for its pretty coves and beaches.

MIJAS
Mijas is probably the most famous white washed villages on the coast. The town built around the hill side offers some of the best views on the coast.
The traditional village has a thriving arts and craft movement ,you may buy local linen, ceramics, wicker items, paintings, bread and honey.
Tiny shops line the village streets and there are view points all around the village.
There are beautiful gardens, a church and a bandstand.

MARBELLA
Marbella is the most famous resort on the costa del Sol, it is cosmopolitan and glamourous. It boosts 26 kms of beaches, top class beachfront hotels, a promenade of shops and restaurants, water sports, a marina, a lighthouse and a small fishing port.
Marbella also has a very traditional old town known as the casco antiguo, which has cobbled streets white washed houses covered in Bouganvillea, a plaza full of orange trees, a church and many restaurants.
The backdrop to marbella is the beautiful La Concha mountain.

ESTEPONA
Estepona is 25 kms west of Marbella and only an hours drive from Malaga airport, originally a fishing town it is sheletered by the the Sierra Bermeja mountains. The town is a typical Spanish town with cobbled streets lots of tranquil plazas filled with cafes, bodegas and tapas bars.
The beaches are ideal for children due to the safe shallow waters and they have been awarded a blue flag. There is also a working Bullring and a pretty marina, boasting some excellent fish restaurants.

FUENGIROLA
Fuengirola is a lively place which has hosted tourism since the 60s, full of bars, restaurants and home to a zoo, water park and childrens fun park. The long sandy beaches are famous on the coast it is overlooked by the longest promenade on the coast, it will take 2 hours to walk from one end to the other.
There is the castle Sohail marking the entrance of Fuengirola , Roman Columns in Los Boliches and Thermal baths in Torreblanca
The town is host to concerts and festivals throughout the year.

MALAGA
Malaga is Andalucias coastal capital. It is typically Andaluz and underestimated by many tourists who visit the coast without making a trip to this wonderful city surrounded by history of 3,000 years. It has been occupied by the Romans, the Moors and Carthaginians Their influences are apparent in this city including a fortress, La Alcazaba, which dates back to 1065.
Malagas old town has a Moorish air with tiny streets, baroque facades and lots of plazas with an abundance of tapas bars.

DUQUESA
This is a fairly recently developed area of low rise buildings centred around a tranquil marina and Duquesa golf course. It is close to Gibraltar and the area boasts some of the most famous golf courses on the coast such as San Roque, Almenara, Valderrama, Sotogrande and Alcaidesa - the coasts only links course.


BENALMADENA COSTA
Benalmadena costa is located just west of Malaga and Torremolinos, a buzzing family resort offering many attractions, 9km of beaches and a fully equipped marina for more than 1,000 boats. Its night life attracts people from all over and there is an extensive choice of restaurants.
Just north of Benalmadena Costa is Benalmadena Pueblo a typical white washed village.

COIN
Coin is situated just 21 kms inland from Marbella, at the cross roads between Marbella and Mijas. It has remained untouched from the tourist boom, just far enough away to escape the high rise hotels of the coast. A beautiful village conquered from Arab rule by the catholic kings then later destroyed then reformed under the Castillian Monarchs.
Places of historic interest are the Santa Maria de la encarnacion church, San Juan church and the Torre de loss Trinatios.

ALHAURIN
Alhaurin is 17 km from Malaga and 8km inland from Torremolinos. Here the traditional village is set along side some more modern urbanizations creating a nice mix of old and new. The area has a good agricultural industry of fruit and flowers.

Fuengirola
Famous for its family orientation and its spectacular 5 miles of sandy beaches with a stunning view of the Mediterranean coastline. Although Fuengirola is a comparatively developed area there are still a variety of historical sites and open parks. Fuengirola’s ports are divided into two areas. The old port where local fishermen still bring in their daily catches and the new port which has a full range of new facilities.

Ronda
The local tourist board refers to it as Ronda the City of Dreams. It stands on a towering plateau, which is divided in two by a plunging river gorge. There is the historical Moorish town with many buildings including the House of the Moorish King. Ronda’s old towns’ main land mark is its fabulous Moorish bridge. Ronda also boasts the oldest and most beautiful bullring in Spain. It is the birthplace of the famous Romero family with 3 generations of influential bullfighters each with a different level of skill, flair and art.

Puerto Banus
Located just west of Marbella before you reach the small town of San Pedro de Alcantara. This is the place to be pampered with a large selection of alfresco bars, piano clubs and various discos for evening leisure entertainment. The area is a shopper’s paradise during the day with several world renowned fashion houses featured in addition to small boutiques and shops. With a weekly market that locals travel from far afield to pick up all sorts of bargains.

Mijas
The municipality of Mijas, in the west of the Costa del Sol, extends from the Mijas mountain range to the sea via an undulating landscape of hills. The sierra is a very striking scene, softened by the pine groves embellishing some areas and enhancing the presence of Mijas which sit on top like a watchtower looking out to sea.

Marbella
Situated about 50 kilometres from Malaga, its municipal boundary of almost 25 kilometres of coast are extended to the feet of the Sierra Blanca which services to protect against the northern winds, creating a privileged subtropical microclimate. The beaches are, above all, widespread, sandy and well maintained with highlights such as Calahonda the Marbella cove and the Lachones and Banus points. Puerto Banus hosts the great marina that boasts more than 900 dockings points and the Nueva Andalucia development and the prince Alfonso de Hohenlohe.

Malaga
This is the capital city of the Costa del Sol and it’s International Airport provides the gateway to all of the other Andalusian towns. Malaga is a city steeped in more than 3,000 years of history. Excavations have discovered evidence of the Carthaginians, the Romans and the Moors. As a result there is a large selection of historical monuments in the city. Malaga’s cathedral is known as La Manquita, meaning "the little one armed lady". Due to the length of time it took to build the cathedral it denotes Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-classical styles. Malaga is also well worth a visit during one of its many festivals. The fiestas here are numerous and each one celebrated with the vigour that is synonymous with Andalucia.

Estepona
Traditionally a small fishing port it is now one of the fastest growing and most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol. With a number of coves and it’s Blue Flag awarded beach "La Rada" Estepona hosts a variety of activities for young and old. The peaceful atmosphere of the old town remains although there is a variety of sport facilities and the hustle and bustle of the Sunday market offering plenty of bargains. Estepona is approximately a one hour drive from Malaga.

Costa del Sol Golf
The Costa del Sol hosts some of the finest golfing facilities in the world all just a short drive away. Whatever your handicap you will find a course that will meet your requirements from a selection of 80 top courses. This is not including a number of newly planed courses which will challenge all standards of golfers. Valderraama is one of these courses featured in Costa del Sol. This course hosts all major Championships but notably this hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup.
